The Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa is organising again this year the Danza en la Villa Festival, to be held from 13 to 25 June 2023. The programme includes flamenco shows, theatre plays, circus acts and much more, starring acclaimed dancers and choreographers at the various halls in this major cultural centre in Madrid.
The Danza en la Villa Festival will offer a number of shows, round tables, talks, workshops, book presentations and film screenings. This year, the Festival will use Sala Guirau and Sala III, an unconventional exhibition hall for special performances and shows for younger audiences.
There’ll be performances by renowned companies, including genres of dance such as contemporary, theatre, circus, street, neoclassical and traditional.
Accessibility
The Centre fulfils accessibility requirements to enter the facilities and the different contents that are offered. Access for wheelchair users is via the Paseo de la Castellana entrance on the corner of C/Goya.
People with reduced mobility must communicate their situation on purchasing their tickets at the ticket office.
The theatre's halls and ticket office are equipped with the Inductive Loop audio system for people with hearing impairments in possession of supporting products, such as hearing aids or cochlear implants with T-position.
To buy tickets and enjoy the shows, people with hearing impairments must purchase tickets in the three central sections (never the far sides) and from Row 4 upwards.
