Garito is in the Madrid headquarters of the Barcelona-based book store chain and opened in September 2012. La Central de Callao is in a 19th century former mansion house and occupies a space of over 1,200 square metres.

You'll find Garito in the basement, a vaulted area that was used for storing tobacco when the building now housing the book store was the first international legation of independent Cuba. This cosy bar serves all kinds of beverages and cocktails and hosts various activities, including live concerts, book launches and alternative events.
