The Maderfaker Fan Club

    Information

The Maderfaker was born in 1996 and three years later became a jazz-funk club. From that moment, it has been an essential part within the circuit of funk and black music bars in Madrid, becoming a clear favourite. Within this broad area of black music, Maderfaker concentrates on the 1970s.

At club sessions, funk is combined with dance floor rhythms like jazz, soul and boogaloo. The décor of the bar is one of the most identifiable and original features of the club. On the walls you can find original posters of many of the great films of the 'Blaxploitation' which highlights the fashions of the seventies of large flaps, platforms and afro hair .... In summary, all original and genuine iconography deployed the genre.
