From 7 to 10 September 2023, Caja Mágica is hosting a new edition of the Madrid Championship, the largest CrossFit event in Europe with different categories to cater for all levels. This event offers unique experiences, as well as a platform for the best sports professionals on the planet. 

Madrid Championship is a community and presents two ways to compete and numerous ways to take part. To participate there are three ways to qualify: Online qualification (Elite Teams (MF) / Individual Elite and Individual Master / teens 15-17); open registration, by order of registration; or at the invitation  of the organisation, for which the invitee must fall into any of the following categories: Top 10 World Open 2023 / Athletes CrossFit Games Individual 2020, 2021 and 2022 / Top 60 European 2023 - 2023 National champions / wildcards from competitions in collaboration with MAD.

The standards to compete in each category are: BEGINNERS/SCALED+/MASTER SCALED, a division designed for teams of athletes with little experience, this may be their first or second competitive experience in functional training competitions; INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED +/MASTER INTERMEDIATE/TEENS, a division designed for teams of athletes with some experience in functional training competitions and an intermediate fitness level; MASTER INDI, for each of these categories the organisation will take as a reference the standards and requirements of CF Games when scheduling events and including loads and movements; and RX/ELITE, division designed so teams with the most experienced athletes can go head to head. These athletes must be able to perform all the usual CrossFit movements, as well as be prepared for the unknown.
