In 1973, Paraninfo began his training project  in the university district of Argüelles. It currently enjoys national and international prestige for its teaching quality, entrepreneurial spirit and reputation.  Paraninfo is the first Centre accredited by the Cervantes Institute, offering a quality guarantee for teaching Spanish for Foreigners.

It is also possible to learn other languages, such as English, French, German, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese and Russian. The academy also has the Premium distinction from the British Council and was the first to become an examination centre for Oxford University in Madrid.

With 22 classrooms, library, air conditioning in classrooms and Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the academy, it is a modern school adapted to the needs of its students and it remains open all year with extended opening hours.
