Welcome to Madrid
For the prevention of contagion by coronavirus COVID-19, Game of Thrones: The Official Exhibition has been cancelled
The largest exhibition on the series ever held in Spain offers visitors the chance to see authentic set decorations, props and costumes from the groundbreaking show. Brought to us by HBO® Licensing & Retail and GES Events in partnership with local promoters Sold Out & Encore Productions, the exhibition is being held at IFEMA - Feria de Madrid’s Espacio 5.1.
Featuring a unique mix of immersive environments, interactives, and multimedia content across 1,000 m2, this interactive experience will allow fans to step into the lands of Westeros and Essos and relive some of the most emblematic moments in the fighting for the Iron Throne. The exhibition will transport fans to the centre of the Seven Kingdoms, where they can learn about the incredible artistic work behind the most award-winning TV series in history, with 47 Emmy Awards and explore series settings like the wintry landscapes of the North; the regal settings of King’s Landing; the tree-lined path of Kingsroad; the garrisons of the Unsullied warriors; the iconic suits of House Targaryen; the mysterious House of Black and White; Castle Black, home of the Night’s Watch; the frozen lands Beyond the Wall; and the show-stopping Iron Throne.
Spanish promoter Sold Out and IFEMA-Feria de Madrid have joined forces to create Espacio 5.1, a new space devoted to entertainment, culture and the arts. Since opening in 2018, it has played host to major exhibitions such as Jurassic World: The Exhibition, Banksy: Genius or Vandal or The Pink Floyd Exhibition. Their Mortal Remains, which have attracted over 350,000 visitors.
