Welcome to Madrid
This hostel is located right in the heart of Madrid, next to the Chueca neighbourhood. It occupies one of the few modernist buildings in the city, which was once the head office of the newspaper El Correo Español. Its façade is in the neo-Gothic style with a modernist composition and was designed by architect Mauricio Jalvo Millán.
Pizarro is a gay friendly hostel and everybody is made to feel welcome. It is based on the principles of tolerance and respect, and aims to provide comfort and an inclusive atmosphere. It has single, double and triple rooms with full bathroom, TV, telephone, safe deposit-box, minibar, everyday cleaning service, electronic door locks and other services and facilities such as two lounges, satellite and digital TV, free Internet Wi-Fi access, laundry, wake-up service, central heating, etc. The decor is modern and functional and the rooms are comfortable and bright.
