Welcome to Madrid
Not all hotels can boast of having such a privileged location as this one that stands across from the Sabatini Gardens, opposite the green border surrounding the legendary Debod Temple and Plaza de España and close to Príncipe Pío Station, which is very well connected by metro and the local train service.
The hotel, which opened in 1959 and was refurbished in 2007, makes the most of its location with a terrace from which its guests can enjoy a fantastic view over the area between the Royal Palace, with the dome of La Almudena Cathedral behind it, and the Senate, dotted with trees. These views can also be contemplated from some of its 155 elegantly furnished rooms. The hotel provide guests who would rather use their own cars with discounts in a neighbouring car parking facility. Facilities also include the Ópera bar, a reference to the nearby Teatro Real, and La Pradera de San Isidro restaurant, serving a daily set menu and offering the best traditional Madrid dishes as well as other international fare.
