The impressive Hotel City House Florida Norte has stood in Paseo de la Florida, outside Príncipe Pío station, since 1973, has rooms decorated in an elegant, classical style.

This four-star hotel is close to the city centre and can be reached on foot, making its location an added attraction. It stands in a quiet neighbourhood, within a triangle formed by three green areas: the Ferraz gardens, containing the Debod Temple, Madrid’s oldest construction, which was brought from Egypt, Campo del Moro, with the Royal Palace and La Almudena Cathedral in the background, and, lastly, Casa de Campo, the largest green area in the city with its popular leisure areas and home to two of Madrid’s main attractions: the Zoo and the Parque de Atracciones amusement park. Tickets for these attractions and other theme parks are available at the hotel, which also organises day-trips to nearby towns of interest to tourists, such as Toledo, El Escorial, Ávila or Segovia.
