Welcome to Madrid

The second edition of the Atlantic Sons Festival will feature quality concerts characterised by the variety of styles and genres. The programme is devoted to Portuguese music and those countries with clear Atlantic influences, with renowned artists as well as young promises.

This year, the number of venues is extended, whereby the New Apolo Theatre is joined by the Bogui Jazz concert hall. Numerous artists, such as Hiromi & Edmar Castañeda, Aurora García, Gerardo Núñez accompanied on stage by Hélder Moutinho and Pedro Castro as invited artists, Jazzmeia Horn, Diego Carrasco, Maceo Parker, The Gift, Jorge Drexler, Mariza, Stacey Kent and Patax will take part in this second edition.

The Atlantic Sons Festival came about in 2016 as a meeting point for Portuguese artists in Madrid. It is a festival that has been reinvented and extended to include more artists from other countries and offer a wider range of sounds from the traditional fado to jazz, soul, blues, flamenco or funk.
