Terraza Hotel Emperador

    Information

Located on the tenth floor of the Hotel Emperador, you can get a unique perspective of Madrid’s Gran Vía from this terrace. Refurbished by the architect, Nacho García de Vinuesa, this space is open all year round, as it has acclimatised areas for the cold and the rain.

During the spring – summer season, it becomes an elegant beach club in the daytime, thanks to its large swimming pool, which dates back to 1948. The culinary proposal is provided by its  snack bar restaurant, offering fresh and summer dishes. Open to the general public, its entrance fee includes 1 towel, a sun lounger and a glass of Moët Ice.

In the evenings, it becomes a cocktail bar from where you can enjoy the best sunsets in Madrid with a long drink.

The Hotel Emperador also offers a guided visit on the terrace for groups contracted in advance (groups must be at least 15 people), in which an official guide will explain the most emblematic places that can be seen from the terrace  to visitors as well as the hotel’s particular history and the site on which it stands on the Gran Vía.
