El búho real

    Information

Awarded Cultural Heritage status in Madrid, this legendary venue was founded in 1984, dedicated to offering quality live gigs and stripped back acoustic pop rock. Nestled between Chueca and Alonso Martínez, this venue has seen the likes of Bebe and Tontxu perform here before they became famous.

This small bar, just 50 square metres, offers daily gigs at great prices. It has been under new management since 2014, who have taken it in a more multidisciplinary direction, opening performances up to new musical genres as well as other cultural activities including stand-up comedy, micro-theatre performances, networking events, and workshops, without forgetting its heritage and identity as a legendary live music venue.
