Chocolatería Tacita de Plata

    Information

Centrally located calle Mayor, close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, is the home to this chocolate and churros shop. It has been founded by a family of churro makers that has been making and selling churros in Madrid’s fairs and festivities of San Isidro, San Antonio, La Virgen de la Paloma and around the streets of Madrid for over a century.

Following the traditional techniques and artisanal recipes, this traditionally decorated shop with several marble-topped tables, wooden chairs and light colored walls, offers traditional churros and porras, plain ones or filled with vanilla cream or dulce de leche (caramel) that you can dip in coffee or chocolate.  They also offer other sweets like crêpes and waffles, sugar flowers and milk shakes made with artisanal ice-cream, but also a savory menu for lunches and dinners.
