In the very centre of Madrid we find this chillout bar, which, since its opening six years ago, has become a meeting point for people of all kinds.
Areia successfully fuses an exotic style with cosmopolitan touches creating, as its name indicates, the perfect place to relax and chat away in an ethnic, oriental ambience. The star items on their menu are the cocktails, which along with the other 50 or so drinks offered, are masterly prepared by Samuel Pinheiro, a recognized barman from Rio de Janeiro. Also worthy of mention is their array of infusions, milkshakes and exotic juices.
