Ciudad Escolar is a mixed-sex residence hall depending on the regional education and culture ministry (Consejería de Educación y Cultura de la Comunidad de Madrid) and attached to Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. It has single and double rooms plus two rooms adapted for disabled students. The hall of residence is is El Pardo next to the Universidad Autónoma campus.

Services include everyday cleaning of common rooms, dining hall with self-service (including on public holidays), room cleaning and laundry. Facilities also include are heated swimming pool, sports centre, sports fields, library, computer room, assembly hall, theatre and cinema. In addition, they organize a series of cultural and leisure activities throughout the year. The hall of residence is closed at Christmas, Easter and in August.
