The Madrid Edition

New
    Information

The building that housed the Monte de Piedad, located in the Plaza de las Descalzas, has ceased to be a pawnshop and has become luxury accommodation.  For its new purpose, it has been completely refurbished, but a large Baroque portico has been preserved on its façade, which is the work of the artist Pedro de Ribera, dating back to 1733.

This hotel owned by the most exclusive hotel chain, Marriot International, has 200 beautifully decorated rooms and suites.  It has a gym, state-of-the-art spa and 350 square metres for professional events.

On the fourth floor you will find the hotel's oasis overlooking the rooftops of the city’s historic quarter. Oroya is the restaurant run by Peruvian chef Diego Muñoz; it is a glass covered space reminiscent of a greenhouse. It offers a relaxed tapas menu with dishes to share, telling the cultural history of Peru with influences from Spain, Africa, Italy, China, and Japan. Outside, with stunning views of the city, Oroya's terrace is a seductive green space with a fire pit and a gazebo covered with vines, perfect for relaxed meals with friends and family. On the terrace there is also the largest infinity pool in Madrid and the Pool Bar. An ideal spot for cocktails and a bite to eat as you relax one of the 60 sun loungers or 10 Balinese beds while admiring the distinctive views of Madrid's red rooftops against the backdrop of the sunset.
