Gran Hotel Inglés

    Information

This luxury five-star hotel belonging to the Mallorca chain of exclusive boutique hotels, Hidden Away Hotels, was the first in Madrid in its category, when it opened in 1886. It was also the first to have a restaurant inside. Following a complete refurbishment, today it offers a unique experience, recreating the luxury of the golden 1920s.

The hotel’s Art Deco decoration combines elegance, class, comfort and sophistication with a carefully designed lighting project, offering a cosy atmosphere.

The establishment has 48 spacious rooms (all of which are fitted with  king-size beds, 500-thread Egyptian cotton linen, smart TV and Wi-Fi, as well as being fully sound-proofed), a large gym, a wellness area, two private dining rooms and a library called the Literary Lounge.

Taste the best gastronomy in the centre of Madrid. Aromas from before, good cuisine, a luxury that is the son of the most traditional Madrid, share laughter, glasses that rise. Our kitchen triumphs in Madrid through the skilful recipe of pouring into its recipes all the emotion of the magic of the Barrio de las Letras, of the authentic traditional flavour.
