Eurostars Madrid Tower
Information
You’re more than likely to be overwhelmed by the stunning views from any of the 474 rooms in the Eurostars Madrid Tower. You’re surrounded by the Kio Towers, the Azca buildings... This is Madrid's most urban side in all its glory, as seen from one of the four towers in the Business Area now shaping the city's new skyline next to Paseo de la Castellana.
This five-star hotel has been designed specifically for business travellers and spreads out over 33 of the 50 floors in the Sacyr-Vallehermoso Tower, a skyscraper designed by architects Enrique Álvarez Sala and Carlos Rubio Carvajal standing 235 metres tall. The décor is as amazing as its outline – a continuous glass double skin façade – with a predominance of golden and metal tones in the rooms and black in the public areas, except for the lobby bar, which goes for a more daring combination of green and purple hues.
Some of the rooms are decorated with photographs of other famous tall buildings, such as the Empire State Building in New York and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The gourmet set high up on floor 31offers spectacular panoramic views at nightfall. But, for a really memorable experience, try having a swim or a sauna as you contemplate the city spread out beneath you.
