    Colegio Mayor Alcor is an institution attached to Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). It is located right in the middle of the university area –close to the Universidad Complutense campus and the Technical University (Politécnica) - with good connections to the city centre. This women’s residence hall founded in 1963 is a corporative work by the Prelature of Opus Dei, an organization of the Roman Catholic Church.

    They have single and triple rooms provided with towels and sheets, washing and ironing service, daily cleaning, breakfast, lunch and dinner included (also weekends and holidays), food to take to university, library and chapel. They also have several study rooms, assembly hall, architect studio, computer room, swimming pool and basketball court. They organize activities like seminars, cultural gatherings, trips, sports (volley, tennis, basketball, football), etc.
